Frames Per Second

FPS is short for Frames per Second, and it is the amout of frames that you are able to
recieve from the server per second.

A higher fps makes for smooter gameplay and less lagg.

You can display your FPS by typing "/cg_drawfps 1" in console. A good fps to have is
anything over 60.

You can cap your fps off at a certain height to prevent jumps which cause lagg. Good
numbers to cap at are, 90, 125, or 333. Make sure you can get the number you cap it at
all the time.

If your FPS will not go above 90 and you hav uncapped it, go to options, and turn off an
option called "sync every frame".

Lowering all of your graphics settings will normally make for a higher FPS. There are many many different commands that can be messed with in the hopes of squeezing out a
few extra fps.
